RO2019 encouraged open peer review, and recommend that reviewers be named and attributed; however reviewers could be anonymous if so desired. Links to the reviews have been added for all submissions below.

Research papers were accepted for talks at RO2019 and published in the IEEE eScience 2019 official conference proceedings (ISBN 978-1-7281-2451-3/19). Accepted abstracts are published below and in the Zenodo ResearchObject community.

Note: Publications in the IEEE eScience 2019 proceedings are unfortunately not Open Access. To encourage Green Open Access we recommended paper authors post their camera-ready version on arXiv or their institutional preprint server according to IEEE’s article sharing policies.
